Number Rods Learning Set

Make number relationships easier to see with the Edx Education® Number Rods Set. Children can compare and combine rods of ten lengths to explore how smaller amounts fit together to make a whole.

The set includes 154 Number Rods in 10 colours and 10 different lengths, plus a sorting tray with lid. Children can arrange the rods by length to build staircases, combine shorter rods to match a longer one, or stack and connect them into 2D and 3D structures, all while developing addition, subtraction, and multiplication skills and building a bridge from concrete representation to abstract thinking.

The grooves in the tray's lid match the combined lengths of the number rods, turning the lid itself into a play surface where children can explore number combinations within 15, such as 8 + 7 = 15 or 9 + 6 = 15, while the tray's storage guides keep every rod organised by length and colour.
