GeoStix® Flexible Strips – 100 Pieces

Connect Edx Education® GeoStix® strips to explore shapes, angles and symmetry. Children can build triangles, hexagons and circles, testing how different lengths fit together as they design and solve problems.

What makes GeoStix® special is the endless variety of shapes you can make. This 102 piece set combines 100 flexible strips in 10 sizes which includs 1/4 circle and 1/2 circle pieces with 2 transparent protractors, so children can build straight-sided shapes and curved ones alike. GeoStix® are the only construction sticks with multiple points of connection, and the transparent protractors snap directly onto the strips to measure and explore different angles.

The learning grows with your child. Younger children can start flat on the table, snapping strips together to explore triangles, hexagons and circles, then build their confidence with the included cards. As skills develop, the same strips and protractors open up shapes, angles and symmetry, from opposite and corresponding angles to isosceles triangles and supplementary angles. With 16 double-sided activity cards and a downloadable activity guide included for guidance and inspiration, every press and connection helps build the fine motor control and mathematical thinking young learners need.
